On November 16, 2009 Kaspersky Lab released patch "a" for CF2 Kaspersky Internet Security 2010.

Patch "a" is automatically installed with databases updates for Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 version 736 (CF2).

Fixed: 

• problem of defining Windows 7 efficiency rating 
• problem which resulted in freezing when switching between the Administrator¡¯s account and other accounts under Windows XP 
• problem of Outlook Express freezing upon the layout change under Windows XP 
• error resulting in failure of nProtect Game Monitor used in some online games

Improved: 

• speed of rootkits scan under Quick Scan has been enhanced and number of the system resources necessary for the scan has been decreased.

Installation:

To install patch ¡°a¡±, do the following: 

• launch update of Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 
• once the updates are successfully installed, restart your computer
• after the system restart in the product interface open the Support window by clicking the Support link in the left bottom part of the product main window 
• if the patch has been installed successfully, then letter ¡°a¡± will appear in the version number of the application.
